Some churches are now open once or twice a week for private prayer – please check the individual church pages. Public services resume this month on 23rd August at St Marys, Stoke at 11am, and at St Marys, West Chinnock at 1030am. We hope to re-open most Churches by October, and will have outside Harvest Thanksgivings in every village, most in September – please check Current Services page, and noticeboards.
Online Sunday services continue to be shared on website via Services – Services during Covid19 (Click Here) where each week you will find a worship service prepared by members of the ministry team.
Prayer continues the daily pattern of Daily Prayer:
Mondays: Montacute and Middle Chinnock; Tuesdays: Odcombe and Norton; Wednesdays: Chiselborough; Thursdays: West Chinnock; and Saturdays: Stoke. (On Fridays please pray for the Deanery and Diocese)

to provide regular Sunday worship of varying traditions that is inclusive and enables people of all ages to encounter God
to create opportunities for prayer and to nurture faith and discipleship
to welcome visitors to our buildings (normally open daily) and to our church services and activities, and for baptisms, weddings and funerals
to encourage children and young families at regular family worship, Messy Church, Baby and Toddler Group, through our support of the local schools, and a Youth Minister
to provide pastoral care for the sick, bereaved and vulnerable
to engage in mission in the villages we serve.

This benefice is a group of seven parishes, located around the famous Ham Hill, just south-west of Yeovil in South Somerset.
The churches include some 160 regular worshippers who are committed to serve God and their communities.
